After a period of frenzied investment by foreign buyers targeting Boston\u2019s Class A trophy towers, the city\u2019s Class B office space is seeing a noted increase in acquisition activity, particularly from domestic investors.<\/p>\n

On Wednesday, a partnership involving Synergy Investments and GreenOak Real Estate sold a four-property portfolio of downtown Class B office properties for $90 million.<\/p>\n

The deal gave Synergy and GreenOak a $33.85 million gross return on the combined $56.15 million the partnership invested in the buildings in 2012 and 2013. The buyer was Westbrook Partners, a New York-based real estate investment firm that has an office in Boston.<\/p>\n
