As a Director at the firm, Matt is in charge of a select portfolio of office assets focused on value-add & core investments made with firm\u2019s institutional joint venture partners. Matt is responsible for the implementation of the business plans for these assets including leasing, capital improvements and redevelopment initiatives. In addition, Matt is responsible for investor reporting as well as maintaining and expanding investor, broker & tenant relationships. In this role, Matt also provides strategic support on acquisitions and dispositions throughout the portfolio.<\/p>\n
Prior to joining Synergy, Matt worked at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, formally Grubb & Ellis Company, where he built a successful practice specializing in Downtown Boston leasing, representing both landlords and tenants. He received both local and national recognition as one of the company\u2019s top rising stars as well as one of the most respected commercial advisers within the Boston market.<\/p>\n
Matt is a graduate of Rollins College, Brooks School & the Fay School. At Rollins, Matt received a degree in Political Science and Business. Matt is very active within Boston\u2019s commercial real estate and philanthropic communities. He is co-chair of NAIOP\u2019s Developing Leaders Executive Committee, a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate\u2019s Commercial Brokers Association (GBREB-CBA) and a member of CJP\u2019s Real Estate Construction and Design Team. In addition, Matt currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Brooks School Alumni Board, Chair of the Nominating Committee of the Fay School Alumni Council and a member of Planning Committee for Urban Improv\u2019s \u201cBanned in Boston.\u201d He is also former Chair of the Glass Leadership Institute of the Anti-Defamation League and former Co-Chair of The Steppingstone Foundation\u2019s Crystal Ball.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>"
